Sonic the Hedgehog Collection Possibly Leaked for PS4

Another Sonic leak has arisen & A Sonic the Hedgehog collection may be on the way.  French retailer SoGamely appears to have leaked an upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog game.

Sega is going to celebrate Sonic The Hedgehog’s 30th anniversary this year with all sorts of merchandise. There is no cover art & release date. Still, as Sega is currently celebrating the blue Hedgehog’s 30th birthday and a new game has not been announced, a collection of old titles seems possible.

Retail leaks proved reliable in the past, but players still want to take this one with a grain of salt until the publisher makes some official announcement. And whereas this data is not formally confirmed, the hypothesis is getting fascinating. Source news website recently listed a Sonic Colors Remaster that appears to have leaked Sonic Collection for the PlayStation 4.

Sega has offered some Sonic compilations through the years, including Sonic Mega Collection in 2002 and Sonic Gems Collection in 2005. However, the last Sonic compilation game was Sonic Classic Collection on DS, over 10 years ago.

It seems that Sega will do something similar for Sonic as Nintendo did for Super Mario. Nintendo released Super Mario 3D All-Stars for the Super Mario franchise’s 35th anniversary, which contained three of Mario’s most renowned 3D games.

An anniversary collection will be an exciting prospect for Sonic players & fans. There have been many great Sonic games over the last 30 years. For those who missed out on the Hedgehog’s history, this collection might be an excellent introduction. And the fact is that Sega is one of the publishers confirmed to appear at E3 next month. So, the E3 2021could be the perfect place to announce Sonic’s anniversary plans. However, it will be truthful to hope for an announcement associated with Sonic the Hedgehog in the close to future.

Last but not least, E3 2021 will run from June 12 – 15 (Saturday to Tuesday) at the Los Angeles Convention Centre. Most recently, Sega, Gearbox, Bandai Namco, and more confirmed their attendance at E3 2021.
