Owlet Cam 2 Aids Parents In Scheduling Their Children’s Naps
New tools from Owlet can help tired parents get a little more sleep than now with a baby at home.
According to the company, the Owlet Cam 2 combines AI and machine learning to decode sounds from the nursery and evaluate whether or not the baby is genuinely crying.
When it detects sounds, movements, or crying in the baby’s room, it sends a notification to parents via the Owlet Dream App.
Parents can also receive video snippets of sound and motion from the camera, which they can view at any time on their phones.
In addition to 4x zoom, night vision, two-way conversation, and temperature sensing, the 1080p HD camera includes these functions. It’s also available in Sleepy Sage, Dusty Rose, and Bedtime Blue, unlike the previous edition that only comes in white.
When paired with the company’s innovative predictive sleep technology, Owlet’s Dream Sock automatically keeps track of a baby’s sleep and wake times.
The Owlet app can tell parents when their baby is ready to sleep, and it can even change the child’s anticipated sleep window as they age. As a result, parents can better schedule their downtime and activities around their child’s nap schedule.
New and existing Dream Sock users can use predictive sleep through a firmware update released today. You can use the feature even without a Dream Sock by manually entering your sleep sessions into the Owlet app on your smartphone.
The Owlet Monitor Duo combines the Owlet Cam with Owlet’s intelligence. You can get a clearer image of your baby’s health and sleep patterns with this smart baby monitor’s HD video capabilities combined with heart rate, oxygen level, and sleep patterns monitoring.
