iPhone 13 Rumors, Release Date, and Everything We Know So Far

It hasn’t been long since the introduction of the iPhone 12 series; However, numerous unofficial pieces of information about the iPhone 13 provide a good overview of its hardware specifications and design. But when is the iPhone 13 coming? This is a question that has occupied the minds of so many iPhone fans. The iPhone 13 most likely be introduced later this summer and will be available in the market this fall.

Shortly after the iPhone 12 series release, a bunch of rumors spread about the next-generation iPhones. In this blog, we will take a brief look at everything we know so far about Apple’s new flagships.

Rumors and Predictions

In general, no significant changes are expected in design, and the iPhone 13 will probably have a similar design to iPhone 12. However, camera upgrades, a faster processor, a new 5G chip, better battery life, and some other improvements are the changes that are predicted for the new Apple flagship.

There are rumors that at least one iPhone in 2021 will have a portless design that relies entirely on wireless charging. But Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known analyst of Apple products, believes that this will not happen. According to him, Apple will use the Lightning port until it finds a suitable way to replace the physical port. Since MagSafe accessories are not widely available, removing the lightning port is not expected.

A smaller notch is one of the other changes expected in the new iPhone 13. it is rumored that the new cut will reduce the height instead of reducing the width. It is also predicted that Apple is going to set a 120Hz refresh rate in the Pro models and might be planning to use the ProMotion technology used in iPad Pro in its 2021 phone series.

Rumors have it that Apple intends to add an effect sensor integrated with the display to some iPhone 13 models. In addition to Face ID, it will be used as an alternative biometric authentication method.

Since the introduction of the iPhone 8 alongside the X model in 2015, Apple’s naming policy has been somewhat complicated. There was no iPhone 9, and after the release of the iPhone X, we had Xs, XR, and Xs Max. Then came the iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max. This trend was repeated in the iPhone 12 collection, and only a new member with the “mini” extension was added to them. There were doubts whether the next iPhone is going to be 12s or 13, but the name iPhone 13 is official now.

Evidence shows that the iPhone12 mini’s sales didn’t meet the expectations, and rumors claim that iPhone 13 mini might be the last version of the mini models.

Design

Apple is expected to continue to offer four models in 2021 without changing the size; So, we can expect a 5.4-inch iPhone mini with a more affordable price, a 6.1-inch iPhone, a 6.1-inch Pro, and finally, a 6.7-inch Pro Max. As mentioned earlier, Apple is not expected to make significant changes in design in its 2021 series; Apple has already made major design changes in the iPhone12 series by using a flat-screen and the new edge design.

According to information leaked so far from several different sources, it is likely that the iPhone 13 will come in a much smaller notch. Apple plans to make the notch smaller by combining infrared and depth gauge sensors into one sensor. Thus, we can expect the 13 series to have a much thinner notch by removing these two sensors. The photo of the iPhone 13 Pro and two other models published by the Mac Otakara website confirms that the notch will be smaller on 13 Pro and other models.

Specifications

One thing that we can be certain about is the chip upgrade. The next-generation iPhone will probably use the A15 chip. In this case, iPhone 13 will perform better than the previous model in terms of processing power and battery consumption. However, the A15 chip will still be 5 nanometers, and the 4-nanometer chip is not expected. The iPhone will come with a minimum memory of 64GB and maximum memory of 512GB.

The upcoming iPhone is predicted to improve significantly in wireless connectivity. Based on the documents that have been released about the agreement of Apple and Qualcomm show that Apple intends to use Qualcomm’s X60 5G modem in the following models of iPhone.

The iPhone 12’s battery couldn’t perform well in battery tests. Ming-Chi Kuo also published a report in this regard, claiming that the iPhone 13 Pro uses a new technology, which they use to increase the battery capacity without the need to change or enlarge the phone. The 5G technology puts a lot of pressure on the battery, so we hope Apple increases the battery capacity as much as possible.

Camera

According to Barclays analysts, all four iPhone 13 models will be equipped with an upgraded ultraviolet camera. An improved f / 1.8 aperture lens absorbs more light than the current f / 2.4 aperture lens, giving a much better final image.

Several sources have predicted that the iPhone 13 will come with higher megapixel cameras to capture higher quality pictures. Unfortunately, it is still unclear which iPhone 13 models will be equipped with better cameras. On the other hand, Ming-Chi Kuo claims that Apple won’t improve the camera’s hardware and will work on software for better quality in the Pro models.

Price

The price of the iPhone 13 Pro and the regular model will most likely be the same as the 12 series. So we can expect a 799$, a 990$, and a 1099$ iPhone 13.

Nowadays, with the little changes that Apple is making, it is tough to decide which model to choose.
We are giving you the choice of price and specification to choose which one is the best and worth your valuable money. You can find your ideal item from the variety of marketplaces we have provided for you on Flidbe.
