Honor 50 and Honor 50 Lite Come Globally With GMS

Honor’s new 50 5G and 50 Lite smartphones are the company’s first devices to support Google Mobile Services after the major rift between the Chinese corporation and Huawei in 2014. Furthermore, the Honor 50 5G is the world’s first smartphone to include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G chipset, which was introduced last year.

The two phones in question are the Honor 50 and Honor 50 Lite, but we need to clarify a few misconceptions. In the first place, the Pro model hasn’t made the journey yet.

First and foremost, the Honor 50 Lite is not to be confused with the Honor 50 SE. According to the information provided, the Huawei nova 8i is used in the Lite model; however, additional information about this model will be released later on, so stay tuned for more information.

The Honor 50, which was just released in international markets, is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G SoC and features a 6.57-inch FHD+ OLED display that refreshes at 120Hz, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage.

Like the Chinese variant, the worldwide model is equipped with a 32MP selfie camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 4,300mAh battery, in addition to the other specifications. Like the Honor 50SE, it has a primary camera with a resolution of 108MP and support for rapid charging at a rate of 66W.
Honor’s range was initially unveiled in China, but the company is currently preparing for a significant international rollout of the device. According to our sources, the Honor 5G will be available for purchase in Emerald Green and Midnight Black for €529 (6/128GB), with the 8/256GB model costing €599. The significantly less expensive Honor 50 Lite will be available in three colors: Deep Sea Blue, Space Silver, and Midnight Black for just €299. However, it will only be available in one storage configuration: 6/128GB.
